Drew Barrymore will be the 'center square' on upcoming reboot of classic game show Hollywood Squares

Drew Barrymore took to Instagram on Friday to announce that Hollywood Squares is getting a reboot with her as the 'center square'. A premiere date has yet to be announced, but the hour-long episodes will hit cable TV on Wednesdays at 10/9c sometime in January. Hollywood Squares has been reintroduced twice with John Davidson in 1986 through 1989 and then with Tom Bergeron from 1998 to 2004 as the hosts. The game show will run after The Price is Right at Night hosted by Drew Carrey and Raid the Cage hosted by Damon Wayans, Jr. The three programs - Hollywood Stars among them - will debut during a midseason break for CBS's Wednesday lineup of Survivor, The Summit and The Amazing Race.
