It attracts people in their thousands and North East Lincolnshire’s annual Armed Forces Weekend is again expected to draw bumper crowds this month. It brings together a mix of breathtaking displays, fun attractions and stalls to keep all the family entertained, and is free to attend. Additionally, there are a number of specific day closures to allow for the main event set-up and operation: Friday, June 16 Station Road (High Street – Station car park access) closed from 6am until 8pm Friday evening for the duration of the Carnival, 4pm to 9pm, temporary closures affecting Alexandra Road, High Cliff Road, High Street, Osborne Street, Dolphin Street, Albert Road. Remaining bays to the left of the entrance open as usual.
